Who I am

This website is run by George Henderson, trading as Sound by George. For anything to do with your data, email [email protected].

What I collect

If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you write in your message. I don't collect anything else about you.

Why I use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to arrange that work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering your message) or steps towards a contract you've asked about. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

Messages pass through my email provider and, where the form is used, a form-handling service that forwards it to me. The site is hosted with Cloudflare, which may process basic technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site secure.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless I need them longer for a job we've done together.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Just email me. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, which doesn't need your consent. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address.
